This is the place where we’re supposed to rant and rave about how we’re the leading spit roast caterer in the universe (how do you even measure leading?) or that we’re the best value (calculated by the official scientific formula of [food quality x service] / price of course).
Let’s face it we can claim a lot of things until we’re blue in the face but why should you believe us? Maybe you’d like to get to know us a little first...
The Spit Roast Catering Company Story
Graham Peet saw that spit roast catering was quite popular in Australia and since the Australians had no qualms about trying to steal the pavlova and other kiwi icons figured it was New Zealand’s chance to actually get something back.
After making several alterations to the way Aussies were doing things he officially launched the Spit Roast catering Company in November 1997. And Graham’s belief that his style of catering was one that most Kiwis can identify with was quickly proven right.
Spit Roast Catering Company now provides packages for all types of occasions from very casual beach parties and construction roof shouts to formal wedding and corporate functions, huge public events and everything in between.
The company effectively grew the New Zealand market for quality value for money spit roast catering from its modern premises in Auckland and Hamilton.
Now with the capacity to cater for over seventy functions a day (which often occurs during the busy summer months) the Spit Roast Catering Company has gone from strength to strength. Subsequently the company has grown to become the most respected and busiest spit roast caterer in the country.
